Fun four-wheeled pull toy in the shape of Carley the chameleon, who loves to go on adventures. Carley has been designed in soft velour and has beautiful multicoloured stripes on both sides. The two crackling leaves on Carley’s back and her curly tail are exciting to touch for little fingers.

The pull toy is filled with recycled polyester and the wheels are made from lacquered beech wood. The four wheels have clear silicone rings to ensure that the pull toy doesn’t make noise or scratch delicate floors when Carley travels. A fine cotton drawstring makes it easy for little hands to pull Carley along.

The soft pull toy is a big hit with little ones just learning to walk. The various textures and colours stimulate the child’s sense of touch and sight, making the chameleon a great addition to any child’s room.

Use the pull toy as a great gift for a first birthday when you want to give a special little person some Danish design.

Toys for the Walking Stage

In the walking stage, your baby takes their first steps and begins to experience the world from a whole new perspective. This stage is all about exploring, balancing, and moving freely – often with great enthusiasm and energy.

When your baby pulls up, walks along furniture, or starts walking independently, they strengthen their muscles, balance, and coordination. Support your baby in this stage by creating space for movement and offering toys that inspire activity, curiosity, and confidence.

Tips for play during the walking stage

  • Give your baby the opportunity to practice walking on different surfaces – such as carpets, cushions, grass, or sand.
  • Build small obstacle or play courses that challenge your baby’s balance and body control.
  • Introduce push toys like walkers, doll prams, or chairs once your baby can walk without support.
  • Play chasing games, balloon play, or ball games that encourage your baby to move in different directions and at different speeds.

Choosing the right toys

Choose toys that promote movement, balance, and independence, such as:

  • Baby walkers and dolls prams that encourage movement and exploration.
  • Balls and activity toys that can be thrown, kicked, or rolled.
  • Building blocks and stacking toys your baby can play with while standing or walking.
  • Toys with music, sound, or movement that inspire your baby to dance and move.

The first 4 stages of a baby’s development

Lying Stage

In this stage, the baby lies down. Focus on play that allows the baby to follow toys with their eyes, hear sounds, and feel different textures.

Creeping Stage

In this stage, the baby begins to roll, turn, and move forward on their tummy. Play with toys that motivate the baby to reach out and explore their surroundings.

Crawling Stage

The baby learns to crawl and move freely. Strengthen balance and coordination through floor play with balls, blocks, and small obstacles.

Walking Stage

The baby stands up and takes their first steps. Create space for movement and play where the baby can challenge their balance and explore the world on their own two feet.
