Adorable musical mobile designed to look like the zebra from Sebra’s Teeny Toes theme – a story about the joy of using your body and expressing yourself through jumping, dancing and playing, whatever your situation.

Designed in a variety of fabrics, the musical mobile has a ribbed C-ring in the zebra’s hand so you can easily attach it to an activity stand, car seat or pushchair. If you pull the ball the zebra is standing on, you and your baby can enjoy the sounds of Brahms’ soothing lullaby.

The 25 cm long musical mobile is great for creating a cosy and atmosphere in the children’s room at bedtime. It is also easy to take with you on a trip, and is good for creating familiarity when your baby is sleeping in new surroundings.

Designed in Denmark, the musical mobile is a sweet gift for a new baby which both parents and child will enjoy.

Toys for the Lying Stage

During the first months of your baby’s life, they are in the lying stage. This is when your baby begins to discover their body and the world around them.

Support this development by giving your baby tummy time, talking to them, making eye contact, and offering calm, sensory-stimulating toys that catch their attention and encourage movement.

Tips for tummy-time play

  • Give your baby short periods on their tummy each day to practice lifting their head and supporting themselves on their arms.
  • Talk to your baby and make eye contact – it strengthens their senses and sense of connection.
  • Use sensory toys that capture your baby’s gaze and motivate them to reach out and move.

Choosing the right toys

Offer calm toys that stimulate the senses, such as:

  • Rattles, fabric books, and activity books.
  • Play gyms and hanging toys that move or make sounds.
  • Soft toys and figures that your baby can grasp and explore.

The first 4 stages of a baby’s development

Lying Stage

In this stage, the baby lies down. Focus on play that allows the baby to follow toys with their eyes, hear sounds, and feel different textures.

Creeping Stage

In this stage, the baby begins to roll, turn, and move forward on their tummy. Play with toys that motivate the baby to reach out and explore their surroundings.

Crawling Stage

The baby learns to crawl and move freely. Strengthen balance and coordination through floor play with balls, blocks, and small obstacles.

Walking Stage

The baby stands up and takes their first steps. Create space for movement and play where the baby can challenge their balance and explore the world on their own two feet.
