The Sebra Bed, Baby & Jr., is a Danish design icon, tested across generations since architect Viggo Einfeldt drew the first lines over 80 years ago.

This classic design grows with your child thanks to the adjustable base and extendable function, making the crib suitable for newborns through to junior years.

The bed is made from certified wood and carries the EU Ecolabel, among other certifications. The height-adjustable base can be set at the highest position for newborns, providing a comfortable height for placing or lifting your baby from the crib.

Before your child shows signs of rolling over or sitting up, the height-adjustable base should be lowered to the bottom position. The lowered base and iconic slatted sides ensure a safe sleeping environment for your child during the first years.

You can remove the slatted sides when your child is old enough to climb in and out of bed independently. The bed can then be extended to 157.75 cm (external dimensions), making it suitable until around 6-7 years of age.

No additional parts are required to extend the bed. If you've chosen the original Sebra Mattress, it includes an extension piece that can be used when the bed is fully extended, making the transition seamless and stress-free.

This makes the Sebra Bed a durable solution, able to be passed down through generations or resold, helping to conserve valuable resources and avoid the need for a new investment.

The Sebra Bed, Baby & Jr., is designed for a maximum weight of 15 kg in the highest mattress base position and 80 kg in the lowest.

The Sebra Bed, Baby & Jr., is designed in Denmark for indoor use and produced in Europe.

The Sebra Bed

A Danish Design icon

When architect Viggo Einfeldt designed the bed in 1942–1943, he became part of Danish design history, alongside renowned architects such as Arne Jacobsen, Kay Bojesen, and Børge Mogensen.

A new design classic was born and, for over 80 years, it has provided comfort and restful sleep for families with children, across generations.
